Oh boy i didn't see the Fancuries coming back in my 2024 calendar, but here we go! Welcome to the Soleil Equinox FYC post!!

Rina Amano has started her 2nd year at Nanairogaoka Middle School, reuniting with old and making new friends. Even if it doesn’t seem like it, she has a deep love for fairytales and gushes about them whenever she can! But now, she has the fate of a kingdom resting on her shoulders! A fairy known as Pachi was sent to Earth in order to recruit the new age of Pretty Cure, because a new and powerful evil has erupted and is taking control of Märchenland! Now, it’s up to the Pretty Cure to defend Märchenland once again, or the entire kingdom will suffer from an unhappy ending!

The Dark Knights

The successors of the Bad Time Trio, these three serve to fix what they had started. Believing that it’s possible to revive Lord Pierrot, their goal is to take the Happiness of others and use it against the people, hoping to reignite the world into darkness

I have two of the Three Knights finished however!!

Marionetta

An energetic jester who specialized in puppetry - she’s the 3rd in command, using electric strings to control her targets and making it easier to monitor their behavior

(She was previously nominated for Worst Villain in 2022) Red

A spoiled young man who sees himself as a prince of the Knights, although second in command. He utilizes his card abilities as his main source, but doesn’t mind using them to keep his targets at bay…

Hello everyone! It’s fancuries season! Here’s what I’ve been up to!

Promised Dreams 🦋 Pretty Cure

Promised Dreams has finally been posted! The prologue and chapter one is currently out on Ao3 and chapter 2 is in progress! Here’s what it’s about!

Promised Dreams Pretty Cure has themes of Family, Promises and Dreams and motifs of Nature and Wishes.

As The Kingdom of Wishes is attacked by a dangerous Alliance, young fairy Eos is sent to Earth, The Kingdom of Dreams, with three Cure Compacts. Determined to save her kingdom and Queen, she is in search for the warriors from myth, Pretty Cure.

Meanwhile, Myra Wilson has just moved to Aislgrove, and is attempting to stay optimistic about it. She can't help but doubt the promises of her parents that this would be the last. After a tour of the township, she comes across Eos and then, The Alliance. Endeared by the young duckling, and emboldened in the face of danger, Myra makes a promise that resonates with a Cure Compact that allows her to transform into the Pretty Cure of Fauna, Cure Destiny! Now it's up to her and Eos to find the other two Cures and discover a way to save the Kingdom and Earth!

Here are the currently introduced main characters!

Myra Wilson is a quiet girl who is new to Aislgrove, trying her best to be optimistic about moving again after so many times. She has a reckless streak, jumping in to save others, especially animals, she just can’t help it! She also takes her promises seriously, but it can be difficult to keep a lot of them when you’re constantly moving around. She’s the Pretty Cure of Fauna, Cure Destiny!

Eos is a young fairy from the Kingdom of Wishes, she is a diligent magic apprentice who was on placement to study under the Court of the Kingdom when the Alliance attacked. Sent to Earth by Queen Liora, she is tasked with finding the Pretty Cure’s, now if only she could get over some of her many fears.

Queen Liora is rather young for a queen, at 20 years old, she has only been on the throne for 4 of those years after the banishment of her grandparents. She tries her best though, and having become a Pretty Cure five years prior, she does her best to keep her subjects safe much to her guards dismay. She’s the Pretty Cure of Energy, Cure Radiant!

It is currently being written and has a prologue and chapter 1 available

Nemo Fancuries FYC:

Yello! My name is Nemo Jokard (or Nemo the Memo, doesn't really matter), or Nemo for short. This is my very first fancuries!! Today I'm going to be talking about all of my fan precure projects, but mainly the one I'm writing right now, Nature Shift Precure.

Nature Shift! Precure

Here's a little synopsis on the series.

The Four Seasonal Kingdoms of Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter lived in harmony, protected by the precures. Until one of them went rogue. Regalia, the Winter precure, along with some other rogues, attacked the kingdoms with these monsters called Heartaches. The only one who can help them now is the Princess of Spring, Tupper who holds the 3 remaining seasonal keys. Can she find the new precure?

spoiler alert, she does and here the idiots are.

Ayame Mizuki/Cure Vernal

Our resident pink cure of the team, she is spring themed. Ayame is a reserved girl who isn't great at socializing. She's lazy and tends to procrastinate, but she's trying to change that. She also panics on a daily basis and is in a constant state of screaming inside her head.

Kaori Natsumi/Cure Solstice

Our orange cure who is summer themed! Kaori is bright, energetic and seems to always be moving. She is kinda unreliable though and tends to forget things easily. She has a big sweet tooth and has a family sweets store called Natsumi♡Pastry. She's an optimist and can kinda annoy her teammates with her constant positive attitude. She has a bit of a competitive side.

Etsu Akino/Cure Fall

Etsu is the mom friend. She's the one helping the other cures with their homework, scolding them, hugging them, and discouraging them from doing bad things. Although she isn't without fault. She's very hardworking, which is good, but is prone to burning herself out with all nighters and club activities. She also tends to be the most passive agressive person ever. She learns to balance her life and leave time for herself. 

Tulipa 'Tupper' Flora Leis Fleur Bouquet Laverne

Tupper is a meanie. She usually bosses the cures around and comes up with the strategies. She also gives the cures a lot of sass and criticizes their flaws. She obviously cares about them, she just sucks at showing it.

If you wanna learn more about these dorks, their story is being written on AO3 and Wattpad!

The fanseries themes are seasons, friendship, and change. While seasons aren't the most original motif, I think they're still really cool which is why I used the motif for my first fanseries. The references are kinda old though.

Ahoy! Pirate Precure

About nine years ago, Umi Ishikawa met a mermaid! She's been obsessed with them ever since then and still carries the gift that the mermaid gave her. When her gift happens to be a treasure from the Cordelia Kingdom, she is hunted for theft. Suddenly a crab and parrot are talking and wait, is she transforming?!

Umi Ishikawa/Cure Ness

Umi is an airhead that is infatuated with mermaids. She's always wanted to live in the ocean. The mermaid obsession started probably when her parents went on a cruise and she was all alone by herself. Then suddenly she came face to face with a real mermaid. No one believes her tho. She loves swimming and wishes to live in the sea one day.

Yuzu Egawa/Cure Citrus

Yuzu is a sour girl who doesn't like much of anything. She's ready to sass anyone and everyone. Because of this she doesn't have many friends and throws herself in her studies as a result. She tends to be a know-it-all. Apparently she loves visiting the aquarium in her free time.

Nyoko Izumi/Cure Aurorus

Nyoko is a spoiled girl with a rich background. She's pretty annoying and tends to brag about her money. She's also very very competitive when it comes to swimming and often her & Umi compete. She's also a sore loser.

Shelly

The old advisor for Cordelia Kingdom. She's strict and crabby.

Parry

A parrot with powerful magic. It helps the cures in battle or sometimes it mocks them. Whatever Parry feels like doing.

I plan to write this series on Wattpad and AO3 when I'm further along with Nature Shift! Precure.

The motif of this series is pirates and the main theme is treasuring life. 

Beauty Guru Precure

The Queen of the Glamour kingdom was the Super Instant Influencer. She stood strong until the scandals attacked. She was dethroned, and in her last stitch efforts to pass on her wisdom, was to pass on her legendary Make Up Pallet to the Precure to fight the scandals. She handed it to Pinkity Drinkity her trusty snake. 

Tomoko Ayano/Cure Guru

The first girl to awake as a Precure. Tomoko is an airhead with a bit of an ego. Her teammates keep her check. She isn't very smart, but tries her best! She's really into makeup and likes to experiment with different kind of looks. She transforms with the Aerie Lip gloss into Cure Guru. At first scared of Pinkity Drinkity and still kinda is. Lovingly calls the snake "Pinky." 

Keiko Arai/Cure Blush

The second girl to awake as a Precure. Keiko easily embarrassed and has a short temper. She enjoys studying and has a one sided rivalry with Kagami. With the Periwinkle Compact, she transforms into Cure Blush. She loves Pinkity Drinkity to a fault. She calls her "Pink-chan."

Aimi Hitomi/Cure Shadow

The third person to awake as a Precure. She seems to keep to herself a lot and has a bad habit of bottling everything inside. Although when they are with Tomoko and Keiko, she seems to turn into a different person who can't keep their mouth shut. She transforms with the Goth Pallet into Cure Shadow. They so not lovingly refer to Pinkity Drinkity as Future Soup.

Kagami Ayano/Cure Cosmetic

Technically the actual first one to awaken. She helps the girls in a pinch, but always seems to keep her distance. She doesn't seem to want to get closer to any of the girls. An exception to this is Cure Guru, which the girls and Pinkity Drinkity find strange. (Of course this is because she’s Guru's twin sister, but shhhh, they don't know that.)

Pinkity Drinkity

The girls’ trusty snake partner in crime. She ventured out to find the legendary Precure and now that she found them, she’s a bit worried. She thinks the girls are too young to be fighting Madam Masquerade’s Scandals and fears for their safety. On the other hand though, she knows that the only thing she can really do is guide them as Precure.

Dragon Drinkity

Dragon Drinkity just screams a lot. She sometimes says wise things, but completely cracks under pressure. She was sent first to find the Precure of Lipstick and the Precure of Nail Polish. 

The motifs of this series are angels and make up. The themes of this series are inner beauty and love. 

This series will also be written at some point!

Sew Magical Precure

The peaceful residents of Lalaloopsy Land have been turned into a bunch of dolls by an unknown illness.. Now most of their parts have been scattered across the world.. Some of them have even been turned into monsters.. A few girls, boys, and enbys are bonded to a certain Lalaloopsy then via magical mascot become Precure. Now it's a matter of time of finding all of the residents and putting them back together again.

Beatrice 'Tris' Spellman/Cure Bea

Beatrice Spellman is a massive nerd. She loves to ramble about a lot of the things she watches to anyone who will listen. Since many people do not want to listen to her ramblings, she doesn’t have many friends. She’s also a bit of a know-it-all. She also can be extremely nosy and likes to help out.

Sophie Moore/Cure Spot

Sophie Moore is an artist constantly on the lookout for inspiration. She usually is sketching in the margins of her notebook instead of actually writing notes. They tend to lack focus when it comes to school work and prefers to just do their own thing. Sophie wants to go to art’s school but her parents want her to become a doctor instead. They can be extremely clingy.

Dorothy 'Dottie' Starr/Cure Starlight

Dottie Starr is a spacey person who doesn’t really participate in the conversation very much.  She is very fascinated by zodiac signs and the first thing she’ll ask you is your birthday. She has an interest in learning about space and wants to know more about it. She is also very blunt and can sometimes hurt feelings without realizing it.

Peggy Thompson/Cure Peanut

Peggy Thompson is the class clown who always disrupts every class she’s in. A lot of people find her annoying, but a few people laugh at her antics. She’s also a huge prankster but sometimes takes it way too far. Surprisely very insecure.

Julia Roberts/Cure Jewel

Julia Roberts is the one whose recruiting the cures. She became a Cure recently but is too busy doing actress things. In her free time, she mentors the cures and gives unsolicited fashion advice. She’s scary when she gets angry.

Buttons

The teddy bear thing that’s giving the Precure their powers. They are kinda rude and sassy, but this is mostly because they’re missing their Lalaloopsy companion. They hope the Precure can help save their partner.

The motif of this series is Lalaloopsy. The themes are childhood, growing up, and friendship.

This series was made because I really loved Lalaloopsy.

FYC Fancuries:

hello hello! I’ve decided to let people know about my current Fancure project, star spark precure! 

Star Spark is a reboot/redesign of the redesigns I did back in 2020. This precure series is one I’ve had characters for since 2015 but I’m here now to actually do something with these precure ideas and make a cohesive universe and story for them. Any story content will be delivered in small mini comics and/or concept art at the moment as I’m still fleshing things out. Currently everything to do with this series and it’s 2020 version can be found on my tumblr page.  As of this post this redesign series only has half of the core cast designed and I need to flesh out the new story more before I can work on the sixth rangers and their fairy. 

StarSpark’s main motifs and minerals, Knights and order vs Chaos, the villains being bringers of chaos and the precure being the defenders of order. 

First off CURE PLATINUM! (Percy) 

Percy (she/they) is an energetic and dumb leader. She’s easily excitable but lacks interest and focus in non-physical activities, an absolute ball of endless energy, she’s the tank of the team and a huge fan of magical girls. 

CURE COPPER! (June) 

June (She/her) is your shy academic type. While she’s very book smart she lacks in real world application of these skills and is terrified of the outdoors due to most of it being unknown to her. She’s the main damage of the duo. 

GIN(KO) the group’s Fairy 

Gin (Ginko in his human form) (He/Him) He’s a precure Historian and LOVES researching anything to do with them. He’s mainly there to fill the new cures in wit their duties and is the team’s tactician as he can barely fight.

Fancuries FYC: Yo-Ho-Ho! Pirate Pretty Cure

Hello all! I'm Rags, relatively new to the fancure community, and this past year or so I've been working hard on a fanseries of my own called Yo-Ho-Ho! Pirate Pretty Cure. I haven't posted the actual story yet since it's very much still a work in progress, but here's what I have posted for it so far!

Yo-Ho-Ho! is about four girls, Merry, Leah, Anna, and Laci, who become the Pirate PreCure to help save the Infinite Sea, an alternate world where pirates do battle against the insidious Phantom Storm Company. Brought together by Polly, a parrot pirate who can take a human form, they have to gather the pieces of the Ultimate Treasure Map and solve the riddle of legendary pirate Calamity Jax before the Phantom Storm Company uses it to take over the Infinite Sea forever.

The girls transform using the Treasure Pacts and Golden Keys pictured above. By inserting the key into the lock on the front of the Pact and spinning the ship's wheel inside, the four of them can transform into the Pirate PreCure! Polly brings the Pacts with her when she arrives from the Infinite Sea, and the Golden Keys are found in Merry's grandparents' attic.

Meredith "Merry" Read/Cure Captain: Merry is a grade 8 student originally from Toronto who moves to Dovern's Landing, Newfoundland right at the start of the story. She's normally friendly and passionate, but grief has made her grouchier and angrier, and it's difficult for her to make connections with others. However, she also can't take an injustice lying down, and through her willingness to stand up for herself and others, she can inspire people to do the same. Merry likes horror movies and math puzzles, and since moving to Newfoundland she's developed a fascination with the ocean.

Leah Drake/Cure Lookout: Leah is a grade 8 student who has lived in Dovern's Landing her whole life. She's a great athlete who loves sports, especially soccer, but her quiet worrywart personality make her a prime target for bullies. She's well-liked by her teachers and teammates, but struggles to make connections with people her own age. Aside from sports, Leah also likes cooking, and often winds up doing a lot of the cooking for her busy household.

Anna Rivvers/Cure Buccaneer: Anna is a grade 7 student who moved to Dovern's Landing from Halifax, Nova Scotia about 2 years ago. She's full of energy and somewhat childish, easily distracted and lacking focus. She often inspires others to get up and go, and she tries to bring out the best in people. However, she can also sometimes be clingy and shallow. Anna loves dancing, music, fashion, and shopping, and frequently begs her stepmom for shopping trips in St. John's.

Laci Drake/Cure Corsair: Laci is grade 9 student and Leah's older sister. In contrast to her younger sister, Laci can be loud and brash, but prefers quiet solo hobbies like drawing and reading. She's the secretary for their local public library's Teen Advisory Board and she takes her position very seriously. She worries constantly about Leah, especially since this is the first time the two of them aren't going to the same school. She's very protective, sometimes overly so, and extraordinarily stubborn. Laci spends most of her time drawing, reading, and playing an MMORPG called Fantasy Skies Online.

Polly Layton: Polly is a hot-tempered pirate from the Infinite Sea. She escaped to the Mainland (our world) with the Treasure Pacts on orders from her captain, Locke Prescott, in order to find the Pirate PreCure and stop the Phantom Storm Company once and for all. She alternates between two forms: a red parrot and a redheaded woman, both wearing an eyepatch over their left eye. Has a tendency to scream insults in the same style as Captain Haddock.

Calamity Jax: Jax is a legendary pirate from the Infinite Sea who also shows up in Mainland folklore. They were responsible for establishing the Pirate Code, creating the Treasure Pacts, and scattering the pieces of the Ultimate Treasure Map on the Mainland.

The Phantom Storm Company: A fleet of mercenary ships who have made it their sworn mission to stamp out piracy for good. Led by Admiral Zora Revenant, a strict, conniving shark of a woman with a personal grudge against pirates, and her personal ship, the Sea Ghost. Charges obscene amounts of money to chase down pirates for private clients and won't help those who can't or won't pay for their services.

Commodore Trio: The three best commodores in the Phantom Storm Company: Avery Wraith, Marcie Haunt, and Lindsey Shade. Wraith's ship is the Wild Wind, Haunt's is the Night Hurricane, and Shade's is the Crooked Star. Haunt and Polly are Extremely Divorced.

Bonnie: Bonnie is the left hand of Admiral Revenant. She is sent to the Mainland after several failed attempts by the Commodore Trio to judge their progress and report back to Revenant. To say anything else about her would be major spoilers.
